Resources For Parks  |   Filling the gap between what we have and what parks need

The perpetual challenge for funding parks and open space in San Francisco has come into focus recently, with continued cuts to city budgets conflicting with increasing maintenance and capital needs. The growing disparity between what we have, and what our park-loving city wants, was a main tenent of the rationale to create a stronger, larger, and more effective parks organization by combining Neighborhood Parks Council and San Francisco Parks Trust in 2011. Together with our Park Partners, San Francisco Parks Alliance raises millions annually to help parks- restoring both iconic park gems and your treasured neighborhood respite, and advocating for sensible park policies that respect your community's voice. Your philanthropic support is pivotal to San Francisco parks, now more than ever.
