Park Leadership Society

Park Leadership Society    Join us. Be a leader.

Park Leadership Society donors are civic leaders who recognize that we need to care for our parks today if we want to enjoy them tomorrow. These leaders are people who care about this City, people who recognize the tremendous value of having safe and clean places for their children and grandchildren to play, and people who want to protect and preserve these treasured landmarks. Park Leadership Society donors help bridge the gap between what our parks and recreation centers need financially, and what the city budget provides.

As a Park Leadership Society donor you are making a commitment to community building in San Francisco. SFPA is dedicated to ensuring that all parks remain community assets that will improve the quality of life for all Bay Area residents. Your donation provides direct support to our City’s parks, open spaces and recreation centers. Our organization funds programs that provide for much needed park improvements, that ensure park policies and planning reflect community needs, encourage park use, and cultivate a sense of stewardship, while building community interest and support for parks. As the principle non-profit advocate for San Francisco parks, SFPA also offers fundraising, fiscal sponsorship, administrative and project management services to a multitude of community groups. Through our signature program Parks Partners, we are the fiscal sponsor for more then 100 community groups working on park projects.

Since 1971, Park Leadership Society donors have continued to provide critical financial support is an important group of donors who champion the cause for parks and recreation by providing financial support to San Francisco Parks Alliance. Park Leadership Society donors care about their city and care about the state of their parks. By joining this distinguished group you provide funding for essential park projects, opportunities for neighborhood park groups to achieve their goals, education and stewardship, and a brighter future for our parks.
