Event Description:

During this two-day event, volunteers will beautify six different parks and community gardens in Bayview, ensuring that local residents have access to vital health and quality of life benefits green spaces have to offer.

Community Garden Beautifications are a part of Habitat for Humanity' Neighborhood Revitalization work in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco.

Scope of Work: Irrigation and garden bed installation, weeding, planting, and general garden maintenance (varies depending on garden needs).

Come prepared: Dress for the weather in clothing you don’t mind getting ruined, and sturdy, closed-toed footwear. Bring a water bottle. Parking may be limited so beware of posted rules. Carpool or take public transit if possible.

Age Requirement:  All volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Minors must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian.

Weather: We work rain or shine. If you are unsure due to severe weather, please call our Green Space Rain Line at 415-919-4067 after 7:00am on your volunteer day.
