Located at the corner of 20th Street and Vermont in the Potrero Hill neighborhood, McKinley square features a playground with a large sand pit, and a large grassy open area for soccer, football, a game of catch, or to just let the dogs roam. There is also a community garden, and a walking trail with benches. There are no restrooms at McKinley Square. An ADA-compliant access point is on the southeast edge of the park, off of Vermont St.

From Market, take 16th Street east, turn right on Kansas, turn right on 20th Street. Parking is easy.
19-Polk (northbound) -- 20th St. and DeHaro St. Walk three blocks west.
19-Polk (southbound) -- 20th St. and Rhode Island St. Walk two blocks west. The 19 can be caught downtown in the Civic Center area. If you're coming from the western part of town, you can take the N-Judah to Church/Duboce, transfer to the 22-Fillmore bus, exit at 17th St. and Kansas, and either catch the 19 going south at 17th/Rhode Island or walk.
