Considered one of the best views of San Francisco, Twin Peaks offers a stunning, 360 degree panoramic vantage point. The Twin Peaks Reservoir is also known as "Summit Reservoir." Come here at night and see the spectacular view of the city lights! Twin Peaks Reservoir is owned by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC).
It can be windy up there so be sure to bring a jacket! Head southwest on Market Street. It becomes Portola Drive past 17th Street. The first light past Corbett Street is a right turn only; this is Twin Peaks Blvd. You can park in the lot there. Or Take Bus 37 west from Market and Castro streets and plan on hiking the rest of the way. There are no sidewalks on Twin Peaks Blvd.
